You can use the controls to zoom in and out, or drag the map to other surrounding places. Clicking on markers will open a small internal window in which you can go to the page that belongs to that spot.
The first map starts with the old Venetian harbor of Chania.
Whenever you go to Crete, that is a place that should not be missed. It is like stepping through time.
On the left side of the screen you will see the buttons that will take you to wherever you want to go in this virtual version of Chania.
