Another one of one my favourite places in the world: the lake of Kournas.
Photo taken in winter. During summer it is usually more crowded.

Full of birdlife, and if you are lucky you will see one of the many turtles.
Besides enjoying the amazing view, you can relax at the 'beach' or in one of the restaurant/bars or rent a waterbike to go to the other side.
